The Last Newsletter Edition for 2014. Its Jammed Packed!!

What a world wind of a year. I don’t know about you but it sure does feel like I was writing an “end of the year” message just a few months ago. This year went by super fast- a great year nonetheless. While, I’m grateful for a fabulous 2014, I’m even more excited for what 2015 has in store for us as an organization.

If you’ve been following us for the past few months I’ve been sharing with our followers our 2015 Strategic Planning initiative. BOND’s amazing board have been working diligently with a major revamp of BOND Inc. Each board has volunteered to chair BOND’s committees. I challenged them to think of fun and creative ways as they lead their respective committees. It brings me great pleasure to wish my baby a very special birthday!!! BOND Inc turns 8, November 20^th.

You have brought me so much joy and pleasure. My world has never been the same since that day seven years ago when you came into my life. I’ve watched you grow from “dream” into a "beautiful reality" that continues to make a difference in the lives of so many.

You’ve changed my life and yet I’ve watched you be a positive source in the lives of so many others. Even though the road may have been weary at times, I wouldn't dare change a thing. I love you more than words could ever say. I can’t wait to see all the many wonderful things you will become and witness all the many beautiful people whose lives you will continue to uplift, motivate and empower.

Has there ever been a time where you couldn’t put it into words so instead you used a song to express just how you feel? Well many of you have been asking what to expect for this Friday for our BOND Game Night and since I can’t seem to find the right words to express just how amazing the evening will play out, this song will do it just the job. Last and Final Call

This will be the last and final call for to RSVP for the BOND Girl Game Night for Friday. Anticipate a lot of laughs, great food, and a fun filled atmosphere. We have raffles, giveaways, Bingo, Taboo, board games, card games and much more. It’s going to be bananas. You don’t want to miss a thing…It’s a guarantee. Just Added to the Evening’s Festivities

Boy do we have a special treat just for you. Just Added  to the July 20th BOND Girl Game Night is Baltimore's own The Cosl Club (Circle of Self Love) These beautiful ladies will be showing us some easy dance routines/line dancing to get our blood flowing. The energy will be high and you don't want to miss it. Please wear comfortable clothes because we will be getting things shaking.

BOND Membership

Membership is the heart and soul of who BOND Inc is as a thriving organization. We are convinced that planning for membership growth is an essential step and worth the time and effort it takes. Our goal is for BOND membership to be stable and predictable.

You are officially declared a full- fledged member of BOND Inc when you have filled out the membership application and submitted your membership dues. Once those two things happen, you will receive your certificate of membership along with your BOND Member Card. If you haven’t had the opportunity to submit your application and pay your dues we highly encourage you to do so. GroupMe Messaging
GroupMe is a cool mobile app that allows you to stay in touch instantly and efficiently with the masses. We plan to use this tool to send out mass messages reminding everyone of our upcoming events/gatherings, share important news, cancellation, directions and a host of other useful information deemed necessary. There are many added benefits for this tool and will only include those members who agree to be added. Committee Members Needed

In preparation for the 8^th year Anniversary in November and our 2^nd Annual Poetry &Presents fundraising event in December, BOND is seeking volunteers to be apart of the Event Planning Committee. As a member of the team you will have the opportunity to take part in two of BOND’s most successful and much anticipated events. This is also a fun and exciting way to network with prominent business owners and organizations from in and around the community. You will also be able to gain additional skillset that you can add to your professional resume. July we will kick off the planning and hope you would join us in our planning efforts. Florida Here We Come Trip 2013

The lovely ladies of BOND Inc and Natural & All will be joining forces in putting together a fab trip to Florida next year. This will be a great way to connect with women from all over the US. It’s more than just a meetup, this is a MOVEMENT. We have a lot of great ideas in-store for this trip and would love for you to join us. Shopping, dining, entertainment, pampering a meet and greet and the list goes on. We believe in having a great time without breaking the bank. If you or anyone you know who is natural or thinking of going natural and lives in the Northern, Virginia or District of Columbia BOND’s President will be hosting a Natural Hair Meet-up in the upcoming weeks. Here you’ll be able to talk styles, products, meet other local naturalistas and the opportunity to swap products. Up & Coming Event Planner Tamika Smith Helps BOND Celebrate 8 Years with Style, Grace and Sophistication

Congratulations are in order for our very own BOND Sister Tamika Smith.

Mrs. Smith has been appointed as the Event Coordinator for our 8th Year Anniversary Celebration taking place in November. Tamika brings to the table a lot of fresh ideas and a keen sense of style. If you've ever attending any of her events/festivities you know that Tamika is on-point and doesn't leave any stones unturned when it comes to decor and coordinating lavish events. She will be a great asset and we can't wait to see what amazing ideas she has in celebrating such a huge milestone. Thank you Tamika for sharing your gifts with the us. We are honored to have you.
