What’s All the Buzz about this BOND Card?

You remember that survey you completed a few weeks back? You won’t believe that the second most requested question was about? Take a wild guess. OK it was about our BOND CARD?  I know you keep hearing about this BOND Card and Partners, right. But who is it for and what is it really all about?

What’s all the buzz about the BOND Card?
For several months our board has been working diligently in offering BOND members with worthwhile and exclusive incentives. We’ve figured that we wanted membership assessments to really count for something. What better way than with discounts on products and services women patronize most.  

How it Works

As a member all you have to do is let them know that you are a BOND Member, show our select partners with your handy BOND Card and/or provide them with your member number.  It’s that simple.  

Wanna know who our partners are?

We are excited with the growing number of women owned partnerships that have agreed to offer our card holding members with select discounts. Check out our growing list of partners here. Our partners are eager to meet you.

Are you a business owner but don’t see your name on the list?

We want to see your name listed too. The neat thing about this partnership is as the business owner you are in the driver seat. You get to pick the terms. You get to determine how much of incentive you’d like to offer. We’re not picky we’re just grateful that you decided to partner with us. It’s a win-win for us all you-you as the business owner, us as an organization and especially for BOND’s members.

The application process is rather quick and simple. As a BOND Partner your business name and web address will appear in our quarterly newsletter at no cost to you!

February Meet & Greet- Grab Your Seat

For the past few weeks we've dropped hints about our annual Meet & Greet. Now that we've solidified a date and location, let the excitement begin! There's much to celebrate. For starters, how about celebrating 10 years of committed service, or our newest re-launch? What about many of our new initiatives? There's so much more.   We're expecting to see a lot of new and familiar faces to join us on that evening. We've reached out to our charter members who were there in the early days of BOND and helped push us to where we are now, beloved board members, our new members, and those interested in joining the BOND Sisterhood. You'll be able to mix and mingle with some of our BOND Business partners, past guest speakers, Spotlight Features, and you, our greatest supporters. Learn more about who we are, what we're about, ask us some of your burning questions and be apart of the celebration. We're expecting a grand time and want you to be there with us.

Bringing On New Direction (BOND) is a Maryland based, membership driven nonprofit that hosts networking & social events, facilitates personal & professional development workshops and coordinates volunteer opportunities for women of color.

In 2015, we would like to partner with women owned businesses to offer BOND members discounts for a variety of services/products. We would like to include your business in this opportunity. Your business name and web address will be listed in our quarterly newsletter. There is no cost to you!

The Last Newsletter Edition for 2014. Its Jammed Packed!!

What a world wind of a year. I don’t know about you but it sure does feel like I was writing an “end of the year” message just a few months ago. This year went by super fast- a great year nonetheless. While, I’m grateful for a fabulous 2014, I’m even more excited for what 2015 has in store for us as an organization.

If you’ve been following us for the past few months I’ve been sharing with our followers our 2015 Strategic Planning initiative. BOND’s amazing board have been working diligently with a major revamp of BOND Inc. Each board has volunteered to chair BOND’s committees. I challenged them to think of fun and creative ways as they lead their respective committees. I Bet You Didn't Know- Keeping You Informed

April 27^th- Christian Singles Conference- Kingdom Builders Church is hosting a Christian Singles Conference in Hanover, MD beginning at 9:00AM.  The conference will be located directly across from Arundel Mills Mall. Calls, emails and inquiries have been pouring in from those interested in attending. May 12^th- Mothers Day Makeover Photoshoot- BOND Inc is currently running a contest for the Mother’s Day Makeover.  Nominate that special woman who has made a difference in your life. All it takes is for you to write in 200 words or less why we should nominate that special woman. Judges will review all nominations and we will announce the winner May 31^st. The winner will receive a free makeover, professional photoshoot, gift card, gift basket and much more. Remember your essay must be in no later than May 12^th. May 17^th- BOND Gathering-“Her Story”- Ladies, ladies, ladies I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to attend our May Gathering. I promise you that this Gathering will be transformational. It will be an evening of candid conversations among women, for women about women desiring to share their story. There is a sense of freedom and power when others can share their story. No matter how great or small, no matter how insignificant you think it is, your story can and will change someone else’s life. Don’t believe me? Come out on May 17^th and we will prove it. When you release it, you not only change the person receiving it, you will also change.  If you need to be uplifted, motivated and empowered… you need to be here. BOND Inc Annual Meet & Greet March 15th

Ladies it’s that time of year again. BOND Inc is gearing up for our Annual BOND Inc Meet & Greet. This year we are doing it bigger and better than before. What better way to celebrate our members and the new members to come than with a Girls Night Out. Join ladies from all around the DC, MD, VA and surrounding areas for a night of FOOD, FUN & a whole lot of FLAIR.
