"While some things change, some things remain the same"

As you know there has been some major buzz about BOND’s re-launch happening in just a matter of weeks. The board has been plugging away, tying up loose ends, exchanging emails, connecting with the masses to bring our members and supporters with what they can expect for 2015

While there are a number of changes coming your way, (find them here) here’s what won’t change.

BOND Gatherings
Don’t be alarmed our Gatherings are here to stay.  In fact they are by far our biggest staple, so why in the world would we take that away?  They will remain 3rd Fridays of every other month at Union Mill in Baltimore. (same location as before). However, we’re upping the ante by bringing some of the best and brightest guest speakers, exciting new topics and a catered feast at every Gathering.  Due to these updates, we had to increase the price for non-members just a little to account for what we’ll be providing at our Gatherings. Not to worry though, it’s still very affordable.

It sure does pays dividends to be a member- as your entrance fee will remain $7 and can be paid at the door with no price increase. All you need to do is RSVP to reserve your seat, show your BOND Card and pay your $7 at the door.  Do you want to join the BOND Sisterhood? Here’s how.

Featured BOND Spotlight
Ordinary women from across the country that are doing extraordinary things in the lives of others- no, no, no, we can’t give that up. You enjoy reading these inspiring stories and we enjoy providing them to you.  These features run the gamut, from business owners, educators, designers, authors to advocates, life coaches and much more. We plan to increase the number of features. In the meantime, here are some of our past features.

Quarterly Newsletter
Not to worry friends, these aren’t going anywhere either. You look forward to getting our jammed packed newsletters every quarter so we’re keeping them. Just so you’ll know our newsletters will have a new look and feel to them. Something we are sure you’ll be pleased with. We’re encouraging you to share our newsletters with your friends, co-workers, colleagues, and family, everyone you know because we have so much to share as we diligently try to reach the masses. Can you help us spread BOND’s message? We’d greatly appreciate it.

Mentoring Program
You got a snippet of our mentoring program this year by attending our first interest meeting. Read all about it here. We’ve received an overwhelming number of responses since then so we have to keep the momentum going. Starting next year, we’ll be putting together a special committee to help us push the BOND Mentoring Program for Women much further along. If you’d like to be a part of this committee and make history, let us know, we’ll provide you with further details.

This is it for now but there’s more. Stay tuned for Part II of what we’re planning to keep the same. Remember #IAMBOND

In the meantime, check out the Save the Date for our upcoming Gathering for 2015. RSVP sign-up, speaker interview and bio are forthcoming. I hope you’ve marked your calendars; you don’t want to miss this here Gathering.   Hey I’m just saying! Wanna know who our guest speaker is? Find out here
